OpenHW Group Announces CORE-V CVA6 Platform Project for RISC-V Software Development & Testing

Today, at the RISC-V Summit, the OpenHW Group announced the multi-member CORE-V CVA6 Platform project. The platform is an open-source FPGA-based software development and testing environment for RISC-V processors designed to provide a vendor-neutral environment for RISC-V software CI and testing that keeps pace with RISC-V standards.

bnd and PDE Cooperation

Eclipse PDE with its maven integration tycho and bnd with its derived tools (bndtools, maven and gradle integration). PDE followed a Manifest fist approach, whereas bnd follows the approach to generate the Manifest and any other descriptors used in OSGi.

Eclipse Jetty Security Audit Has Been Completed

We’re proud to share that the Eclipse Foundation has completed the security audit for Eclipse Jetty, one of the world’s most widely deployed web server and servlet containers. All users are encouraged to upgrade to versions containing changes addressing all conclusions of the audit: Eclipse Jetty 12.0.0, 11.0.16, 10.0.16, and 9.4.53.
