Chris Aniszczyk

Chris Aniszczyk is the technical lead for the Eclipse Plug-in Development Environment (PDE)
project and principal consultant at Code 9. He tends to be all over the place inside the
Eclipse community by committing on various Eclipse projects. He sits on the Eclipse
Architecture Council and on the Eclipse Technology PMC. His passions are blogging,
software advocacy, tooling, and anything Eclipse. He's always available to discuss
open source or Eclipse over a frosty beverage.

Michael Bechauf

Michael is responsible for SAP's standards strategy and participation in industry consortia. He is also
responsible for the SAP Developer Network, a community of 1.4 million individual developers using the SAP
NetWeaver platform. Michael has been a member of the JCP EC since 2001 and a Board member of the Eclipse
Foundation since 2002. |

Boris Bokowski
Elected Committer Representative
Boris is the technical lead of the Eclipse Platform UI component and works for IBM in Ottawa, Canada. He is a
member of the Eclipse Architecture Council, and an active committer on the e4 project. He is proud to have
helped increase diversity at the Eclipse Platform (a little) by attracting several non-IBM contributors and
helping them become committers. Before joining IBM in 2005, he wrote a commercial RCP app using EMF and GEF,
co-founded and co-managed a Web 2.0 company in Germany, worked on the original Eclipse 1.0 at OTI in Ottawa,
and earned a PhD in computer science at Freie Universitat Berlin, Germany. He is married and a geek dad of

Hans-Joachim Brede

Hans-Joachim (Achim) Brede is the founder of BREDEX GmbH and is one of its managing directors. He has
implemented and managed multiple, highly complex customer projects and is responsible for the concepts in the
development of the automated test tool GUIdancer. Achim holds a Master in Computer Science and has worked with
the University of Braunschweig and Digital Equipment as a technical consultant. |

Hans-Christian Brockmann

Chris Brockmann was educated in Germany, the United Kingdom and the USA. He
studied business administration in Göttingen (Germany) and
Winston Salem (USA) where he earned an MBA degree. He spent 10 years
with Baan Company's Solutions Center Automotiv, where he
built a strong background in production and logistics
planning. Later he was in charge of automotive retail solution
projects in Europe and Asia. He founded brox IT-Solutions GmbH in
1998 with the vision to help businesses make the most of the
massive amounts of available information. In 2008 brox and
partners proposed to the SMILA (previously EILF) project to become the
new open-architecture standard for handling unstructured information.

Dino Brusco is a Senior Director of the Mobile Device Business of Motorola, and is responsible for delivering software development tools and services to mobile application developers. Dino led the creation of Motorola's first Eclipse-based mobile application development platform. Dino's previous senior management experience includes VP of Marketing, VP of R&D, and VP of Mobile Software Developer Services for several high-tech software companies. He has experience in a broad array of industries including enterprise, mobile, communications infrastructure, and aerospace/defense. |

has over 20 years of management experience in the software industry,
including a significant tenure in the software tools space. Among
previous positions held, Mark was VP of Engineering at

"Software through Pictures" product line and the first company to
provide tool support for UML. He has an undergraduate degree
in International Relations and a masters degree in Computer Science from
Stanford University, and is the author of

Mark de Visser has extensive experience and accomplishments in marketing open source software and software
development tools. As CEO of Sonatype, Mark is responsible for building a rich and productive ecosystem around
the success of the Apache Maven open source project where open source and commercial users, as well as partners
and service providers, can all thrive. Prior to Sonatype, Mark was the Chief Marketing Officer at Zend, the
PHP Company, where he was responsible for the company's overall market strategy, as well as for product marketing
and corporate communications. Before Zend, de Visser was vice president of marketing at Red Hat Inc. where he was
a member of the team that created the company's market-leading position with the introduction of Red Hat
Enterprise Linux. He also worked for 12 years at Borland International in international and product marketing
roles, and as vice president of corporate marketing. |

Ricco Deutscher

Dr. Ricco Deutscher is CTO and co-founder of SOPERA. Before joining
SOPERA, Ricco Deutscher was an architecture and technology expert at
McKinsey and in charge of international architecture projects. In this
capacity he developed the fields of SOA and Open Source at McKinsey. In
addition, Ricco Deutscher was also co-founder and president of flatfox
AG, a provider of email marketing technologies. He began his professional
career as a software architect at SAP AG in Walldorf. Dr. Ricco Deutscher
studied physics at the Universities of Leipzig and Moscow, and received a
Doctorate in Theoretical Physics from Hanover. |

Doug Gaff

Doug Gaff is the PMC Lead for the Device Software Development Platform (DSDP). Doug is also a Senior
Engineering Manager on Wind River's commercial Eclipse-based product, Wind River Workbench. He is responsible for
Eclipse open source contributions and adoption of Eclipse technology commercially. Doug has 13 years of embedded
software development experience and holds a Bachelors and Masters in Electrical Engineering. |

Hans Kamutzki

Hans Kamutzki is co-founder and Managing Director of MicroDoc, Munich. He studied Physics and Computer Science
in Bonn and Munich, Germany and focussed on realtime image processing and process control in the early days of
his professional work. For a "device and algorithm for the automatic detection of objects" he was co-awarded
a German and European patent. After many years of development and project management practice in Smalltalk and
Java, Hans now runs the Embedded Java operations in MicroDoc, working mainly in business development and
legal/contractual matters.

John Kellerman
IBM
John Kellerman joined IBM in 1984 with a computer science degree from Purdue University. He's since completed graduate
degrees in Computer Engineering at North Carolina State and Business Administration at the University of North
Carolina Chapel Hill. He has spent the majority of his years at IBM in the development and management of
application development tool products, including ISPF/PDF, VisualAge Smalltalk, Eclipse and Jazz. John was
a founding member of the Eclipse project. He is currently Product Manager for Jazz and Eclipse at IBM.

Jochen Krause
Innoopract
Jochen Krause is the project lead for the Eclipse Rich Ajax
Platform (RAP) project, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Eclipse Foundation. He is CEO of
Innoopract, a recognized leader in Eclipse distribution and web
application development. Jochen has had a leadership role in the Eclipse community since its inception in
2002, and in addition to RAP development, co-leads the Eclipse Runtime PMC and participates in setting the
directions for the next generation Eclipse Platform (e4).
Jochen has focused Innoopract's product development on bringing Eclipse technology to enterprise customers, and at the same time has guided the company in making strategic technical contributions to Eclipse. In addition to Jochen's activities, Innoopract staff are involved in many Eclipse projects such as Riena, Eclipse Packaging and G-Eclipse. |

Stephane Lacrampe

Stephane Lacrampe is the CEO of Obeo. He's got a technical background in mathematics combined with IT. He
started his career in the Telecom industry before switching to Internet technologies, working in a startup
in London for two years. He also worked for very large insurance, banks and services companies back in
France, where he learned about technical and methodological aspects of working with modeling technologies.
Stephane Lacrampe founded his own private company, Obeo, with two other associates in 2005, in order to provide innovative modeling and reverse engineering solutions based on Eclipse technologies. He is now in charge of growing the company and also focuses on growing the French Eclipse community. |

Ed Merks leads the Eclipse Modeling Framework
project and co-leads the Eclipse
Modeling project along with Rich Gronback from Borland. He is a
coauthor of the authoritative book EMF: Eclipse Modeling Framework
which is nearing completion of a second edition. He is interested in all aspects
of Eclipse modeling and its applications. He is well recognized for his
dedication to the Eclipse community, posting literally thousands of newsgroup
answers each year. He is also an active blogger. He spent 16 years
at IBM, achieving the level of Senior Technical Staff Member after completing
his Ph.D. at Simon Fraser Univeristy. His experience in modeling
technology spans 25 years.

Wolfgang Neuhaus

Wolfgang Neuhaus is a co-founder and member of the board of itemis AG. Previously he was Chief Information Officer (CIO) of Brockhaus AG and headed a team of 80 software developers and consultants. Wolfgang earned a degree in Computer Science from the University of Dortmund in 1995. He has extensive practical experience in introducing and implementing Model Driven Software Development, which is his core focus. Mike Taylor is President, CEO, and co-founder of Instantiations, Inc. and has been involved with Eclipse since late 1999. He has extensive senior management experience in the enterprise software development tools arena. During his 30-year career in the software industry Mike has been involved in founding several successful high-tech software companies. Mike holds a BA and and MBA from the University of Washington. In addition to his software-related business activities he is a private pilot, past-president of the Oregon Archaeological Society, and has co-authored several books on Pacific Northwest Indian rock art. Mike lives happily with his wife and dog in Vancouver, Washington. |
